Ailsa Robertson(she/her) is an artist and photographer based in the Highlands of Scotland. A graduate in Fine Art (BA) and Art & Social Practice (MA), Ailsa’s work is photographically informed and she employs analog, digital and experimental technologies. After graduating her first degree, Ailsa spent nine years in living and working in London with clients including Crisis Homelessness Charity, Bow Arts Education Charity and The Southbank Centre, teaching arts education and photography to children and young adults.
Since returning to Scotland Ailsa has been focusing on making art with less, paring back her practice and re-engaging with the natural world, currently through cameraless photography and is a founding member of The Inverness Darkroom.
